Many orphaned children face hardships and risk falling into anti-social influences. To protect and nurture them with Hindu values and patriotism, Bharathiyar Gurukulam Trust was founded in 2003 by Hindu Munnani at the Bharath Cultural Training College, Trichy.
Following the ancient Gurukulam system, children receive free education, spiritual learning, yoga, and physical training, along with formal schooling.
The trust empowers them with skills and job opportunities, ensuring they become self-reliant contributors to society. Trained students further spread cultural values in nearby villages.
Moral values, discipline, and leadership skills are instilled in every child.
Food, shelter, and healthcare are provided at no cost to ensure their well-being.
With a vision to expand, Bharathiyar Gurukulam established another home in 2010 at the Tamizchelvan Memorial Campus, Koduvai, Tiruppur, aiming to reach more children in need.
A little contribution can transform the life of an orphaned child by providing them with education, shelter, and values rooted in Hindu tradition and patriotism. Your support nurtures their dreams, instills confidence, and empowers them to become self-reliant and responsible citizens.
Together, let’s create a future where every child gets the guidance, discipline, and opportunities they deserve. Even the smallest effort can shape young minds and strengthen our nation. Your kindness today paves the way for a brighter, value-driven tomorrow.

Admissions are conducted annually at the start of the academic year for children who have lost both parents or have only one surviving parent. The Gurukulam provides a nurturing environment for their holistic development.
To ensure eligibility, applicants must submit proof of orphanhood, Aadhaar card, ration card, income certificate, medical certificate, and family details. These documents help verify their background and secure their future.
Families can visit once a month to meet the children and speak with them weekly via mobile. Additionally, students are allowed one annual home visit to maintain family connections.
Beyond education, Bharathiyar Gurukulam focuses on discipline, spiritual growth, and self-sufficiency, shaping children into responsible, value-driven citizens who contribute positively to society.
